Gault St. Robotics Club
The Gault St. Robotic Club provides students with the chance to build and program a robot, design mechanical systems, and develop a solution to a real-world problem.
Students learn to use the components of VEX IQ kits to build robots and learn to program their robots using the programming software. Students program their robots to accomplish tasks and solve challenges. Problem solving and logical thinking skills are emphasized. Students work in teams and learn communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
The Gault St. Robotics Club is a strong start on the path that leads to the robotics programs in middle school.

Gault St. Chess Club
The Gault St. Chess Club provides students with the chance to participate and understand the game of Chess. Students get the opportunity to increase their strategic thinking and their Chess playing abilities.
Playing Chess promotes brain growth by exercising both sides of your brain. Chess helps teach planning and foresight, increases problem-solving skills, and improves memory.
Students, in the Gault St. Chess Club, develop focus, patience, strategy, and social skills.

Gault St. Journalism Club
The Gault News is a student run newsletter that meets weekly and produces a monthly publication. The newsletter focuses on Gault St. School’s events and other student interests.
Students brainstorm ideas, design a pre-write plan, and conduct interviews and research. Then students write, edit and revise their work. They learn communication, collaboration, and leadership skills while developing distinctive ways to express themselves by encompassing style, tone, vocabulary, and overall personality in their written work.

Gault St. Running Club
The Gault St. Running Club is organized around the activity of running, but the focus is to promote the wellbeing of the child. The club promotes fitness and encourages sportsmanship and a positive mental attitude. Students learn techniques, skills and strategies of running. The Running Club provides an opportunity for students to learn about a lifelong fitness activity.
